ENVIRONMENT

Residents of the Walla Walla Valley have stayed or moved here, due in part to the region's beauty and abundant natural resources. Yet, the community no longer takes pristine water, clean air, and abundant land for granted.

This category examines the size of some of these resources, their quality, and our use of them. From the available data, water, both its quality and quantity, is the best known resource.

A full definition of each indicator, as well as its relevance to Walla Walla County, can be found in the More Information section. The data themselves are available in a spreadsheet via the Download Data tab.
